Job Overview
SurePoint Safety is seeking Seasonal Safety Auditors to perform safety audits and compliance inspections on active school construction and renovation projects during the summer shutdown periods.
This is a W2 Seasonal Summer Position operating while schools are out of session with 2-3 days per week. Candidate must be comfortable with regular travel between assigned school projects.
Key Responsibilities
Travel to multiple school construction and reneovation project sites throughout assinged regions.
Conduct scheduled and unscheduled safety audits and inspections
Identify hazards
Assist with incident investigations, documentation, and follow-up corrective actions
Record positing findings
Ensure compliance
Document findings in safety tracking program
Qualifications
Required:
Minimum 3-7 years of construction or industrial safety experience
Construction or industrial safety experience
Strong leadership, communication and written skills
Ability to work independently on active job sites and manage safety documentation
Comfortable in fast-paced, active construction environments
Preferred:
Degree in safety related field
OSHA 510 and or OSHA 500
CSP, ASP, CHST, OR GSP certification
Advance knowledge of construction safety standards
Experience with contractor safety programs
Ability to walk, stand, and navigate active construction areas
Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
Ability to lift/carry safety equipment up to 50 pounds

Compensation & Benefits
$48 - $55 per hour (based on experience)
