Job Overview

SurePoint Safety is seeking a temporary safety professional for short-term project coverage at Washington Dulles International Airport. This a full-time temporary W2 assignment to support active construction and site safety oversight. This role requests strong field presence, the ability to manage safety in active operational environment, and a high level of documentation and compliance oversight.

This role is just for June 22, 2026, through June 26, 2026, with the possibility of a Saturday coverage on June 27, 2026

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide onsite safety oversight and daily field support

  • Monitor compliance with OSHA standards, project specifications, and client requirements.

  • Coordinate with project managements, subcontractors, and field personnel.

  • Develop and maintain safety documentation.

  • Review and revise site-specific safety plans

  • Deliver Toolbox talks, and site training

  • Track and document safety observations, corrective actions, and trends

  • provide coaching and feedback to field personnel to strengthen site safety culture

Qualifications

Required:

  • Minimum 5 years of construction or industrial safety experience

  • Construction or industrial safety experience

  • Strong leadership, communication and written skills

  • Ability to work independently on active job sites and manage safety documentation

  • Comfortable in fast-paced, active construction environments


Preferred:

  • Degree in safety related field

  • OSHA 510 and or OSHA 500

  • CSP, ASP, CHST, OR GSP certification

  • Advance knowledge of construction safety standards

  • Experience with contractor safety programs

  • Experience working in high-compliance environment.


  • Ability to walk, stand, and navigate active construction areas

  • Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions

  • Ability to lift/carry safety equipment up to 50 pounds

Compensation & Benefits

  • $45.00 - $50.00 per hour (based on experience) W2

  • Per Diem $115.00 per day (not provided for local candidates only for out of state)
